About
The ThinDish service makes it easier to connect fitness trainers, dietitians, and physiologists with their clients worldwide. Each business receives a custom branded iPhone app, Android app, and website.
The Challenge
When we started our partnership ThinDish was already a functioning platform but needed to improve its level of service for corporate clients. As a result, the project was about both user experience and functionality. In addition, in order to enable further scalability of the service, we took on the challenge of creating a completely revised approach to structuring the system architecture to allow for this requirement.
The Solution
In a nutshell the service was re-developed using the most modern and scalable technologies. It is running in a distributed cloud infrastructure including a server instance on Heroku and Amazon EC2, databases and data storages.
Push Notifications
The newly developed push notifications feature provides up-to-date relevant information to users, encouraging engagement, sparking recognition and increasing involvement.
Management panel
The back-office Management Panel gives customers full control over user and group management, billing, payment processing and app customization. A flexible skinning system allows the creation of customized apps for users, using just the Management Panel and configuration options, without the need for further programming.

The Result
The new system allowed ThinDish to present a totally new level of service to their clients.
The Apps
Customized branded apps were developed to be fully compatible with AppStore / Google Play policy which made it possible for ThinDish clients to use these apps as a powerful marketing tool.
Management Panel
The Management Panel got an extremely warm reception from users as it allowed them to have full control on all operations without requesting ThinDish support as was previously the case.
Currently ThinDish is acquiring more and more fitness and diet clients, whilst at the same time seeking ways to improve their service yet further. Qualium Systems continues working in partnership with ThinDish and regularly releases new versions of the product to market.
