Before this Qualium Systems’ developers were certificated as “Nokia Certified Qt Developers” as well as”Nokia Certified Qt Specialists”. The certification is the official, recognized way to prove developers’ team skills and competence in Qt.

Qt framework – is a cross-platform application framework that is widely used by thousands of companies in more than 70 industries, for developing with a graphical user interface (GUI) and also used for developing non-GUI programs such as command-line tools and consoles for servers. The modular Qt C++ class library provides a rich set of application building blocks, delivering all of the functionality needed to build advanced, cross-platform applications.
The first stage of the certification process for our personnel under the program of improving customer service has taken off successfully – the Adobe Flex 4.5 test had been passed.
The customer service improvement program of Qualium Systems Ltd., which had begun implementation at the end of 2011, had successfully started with the certification of the Flash/Flex development department. So, we have the first certified Flash/Flex developer at Qualium Systems Ltd.!
Why do we think that certification of our staff is so important? First of all, it allows us to tell our clients that we’re INDEED competent in that field. Successful certification guarantees that our specialist is deeply competent in all spheres of a certain field – not just on the surface.
For instance, in order to pass the Flex 4.5 ACE test, our specialist must have had a deep understanding of the following:
- Creating a User Interface (UI)
- Flex system architecture and design
- Programming Flex applications with ActionScript
- Interacting with data sources and servers
- Using Flex in Adobe AIR
So, who is next? Starting in January 2012, there will be a series of certification for the C++ team. After looking at many options, a decision was made to obtain Qt certification followed by participation in the partner program of Nokia Qt.
